MEDFORD, Ore. — McLoughlin Middle School sent all their students outside Friday for a community cleanup to help students in Weed, California.
The middle school students have raised about $2,000 so far.
The kids made a video to promote the neighborhood cleanup project. Local businesses are sponsoring the event, that’s where the money is coming from.
The school’s hope is to bring the funds straight to the schools in Weed in the next few weeks.
